Leading Hand Painter - Waikato

APS Painting (part of APS Complete Property Services) is New Zealand’s leading owned and operated commercial property maintenance company with successful operation and growth since 1991. We deliver a broad range of painting projects across the greater Auckland, Waikato and Bay of Plenty areas with a focus area on interior/exterior commercial property refurbishment.

Along with our Painting team, APS also covers projects such as height related works, building and roofing repairs, heritage building restoration, waterproofing membranes and nationwide painting & rebranding.

About the Role

We are currently looking for a trade experienced leading hand painter to join our dynamic team based in Hamilton but travel around the greater Waikato area will be required.

As a driven individual you will be working with a great team of people. You must have a high expectation of your workmanship. You will be professional and reliable, able to communicate with both trade staff and clients alike.
Site safe experience would be preferred, training will be available for the right candidate, you must be prepared to put in an honest day’s work.
Experience in all aspects of maintenance would be beneficial or a trade qualification.

Key Skills and experience
• Relevant industry experience
• Great time management skills
• Physically fit

Applicants must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa and hold a full NZ drivers licence and be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
