7 Pacific Rise - Roof Waterproofing works

2026

The photo shows a freshly waterproofed flat roof finished with a dark torch-on membrane. The installation is clean and precise, with evenly aligned seams and a smooth, consistent finish across the entire surface. This system not only protects the substrate from water ingress but also provides long-lasting durability designed to stand the test of time.

APS Waterproofing successfully completed a comprehensive roof remediation project at 7 Pacific Rise, delivering a high-quality, durable waterproofing solution across multiple roof areas.

The project began with full site establishment, including staff inductions, development of a Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS), and implementation of exclusion zones to ensure a safe working environment. Access systems were carefully installed, including edge protection, fall arrest systems, and access towers with hoarding to maintain safety and site control throughout the works.

Scope of Works

Lower Roof Areas – Torch-On Membrane Upgrade
The existing membrane was inspected and prepared, including re-torching of laps and thorough waterblasting. APS applied a De Boer Duo Primer followed by a De Boer HT4 C180 slate cap sheet, delivering a robust torch-on system. Associated flashings were replaced, and perimeter detailing was upgraded to ensure long-term weatherproofing performance.

Front Canopy Roof – TPO Membrane Installation
The existing ballast and butynol membrane were removed, and the substrate was inspected and prepared. A new Equus Flagon TPO membrane system was installed using roof-tac adhesive, including all required flashings and terminations. This modern membrane system provides excellent durability, flexibility, and resistance to environmental conditions.

Main Roof Gutters – Fibreglass Membrane System
The gutter areas were refurbished using the Equus Dexx fibreglass system. After preparation and priming, fibreglass matting was applied to all critical joints and outlets, followed by multiple body coats and a Traxx 2000 topcoat. This system ensures a seamless, reinforced waterproof barrier designed for longevity.

Additional works included the removal of a redundant skylight and installation of a back tray, along with full site clean-up and waste removal upon completion.

Outcome

Despite challenging weather conditions, APS delivered a high-standard finish across all roof areas. The combination of torch-on, TPO, and fibreglass systems ensures the building is now protected with durable, long-lasting waterproofing solutions designed to stand the test of time.
