93 Dominion Road – Exterior Restoration & Repaint

A clean, modernized façade that not only enhances the building’s appearance but also ensures long-term protection against the elements. With robust coatings and strategic upgrades, 93 Dominion Road is now better equipped for the years ahead.
Located at 93 Dominion Road in Auckland, this project involved a comprehensive exterior refurbishment, painting, and seamless integration with existing seismic upgrades, completed in 2024. APS was engaged to deliver extensive external repairs and repainting works across multiple elevations, with the goal of restoring, protecting, and modernising the building envelope while ensuring alignment with previous seismic improvements.
Scope of Work
✅ High-pressure water blasting to all facades, in preparation for painting.
✅ Recoating of plastered surfaces with hi-build coatings for added durability
✅ Full repaint of older plaster walls using Resene (carpark excluded)
✅ Restoration and repaint of steel windows.
✅ Repainting of timber joinery and shopfront doors
✅ Canopy roof removal and replacement with marine-grade Colorsteel roofing & new skylights
✅ Steel fire escapes, handrails, and landings recoated with high-performance urethane system
✅ Sealing and preparation of painted signage to ensure a clean, professional finish
