Project Profile: Roof Access Upgrade – The Warehouse Dargaville
Project Overview
This project involves the removal and replacement of the existing roof access system at The Warehouse Dargaville. The works are focused on improving safety, durability, and compliance through the installation of a modern walkway system.
Scope of Works
The scope includes the removal of the existing timber walkway and installation of a new engineered access solution, along with associated roofing and service adjustments.
Key activities include:

Removal and disposal of the existing timber walkway
Supply and installation of approximately 84 metres of APS Catwalk Lite Walkway, in accordance with project specifications

Additional Works
To support the installation and ensure full functionality of the new system, the following works are also included:

Temporary detachment of electrical conduit fixed to the existing timber walkway
Fabrication and installation of custom-made bearers and rails to span 5-metre roof purlin bays
Design and installation of a custom step transition between varying roof levels
Reinstallation and securing of the electrical conduit onto the new Catwalk Lite Walkway system

Project Outcome
Upon completion, the new roof access system will provide a safe, compliant, and durable solution for maintenance access, with improved weatherproofing and integration of existing services.
