Māngere College’s swimming pool underwent a complete refurbishment to restore its functionality, safety, and appearance after years of deterioration. The project included resurfacing and repainting the pool, replacing ceramic tiles, coping stones, pipework, and fittings, and installing new ladders, grab rails, depth markers, and hot water cylinders. Fresh lane markings, artificial turf surrounds, upgraded ventilation grilles, and new health and safety signage were also added. The result is a modern, safe, and visually appealing aquatic facility that will serve students and the wider school community for years to come.
