Hudson Brown
Hudson Brown – Bird Spike Renewal
Bird deterrent systems were upgraded at Hudson Brown through the renewal and replacement of damaged, rusted, and missing bird spikes. The works included removing deteriorated sections, reinstating protection in affected areas, and closing gaps within the existing system to improve effectiveness and help prevent pest bird activity.
University of Waikato
Our specialist rope access team completed exterior building wash and maintenance works at the University of Waikato, using abseiling techniques to safely access and clean difficult-to-reach areas. The project removed environmental build-up, enhanced the building's appearance, and supported the University's ongoing asset maintenance programme with minimal disruption to campus operations.
University of Auckland
Our heights team completed a building wash project at Building 405, University of Auckland, as part of the University's ongoing school programme maintenance and cleaning schedule. Using specialist access methods, the team safely restored the building's exterior appearance, removing dirt and environmental build-up while helping to preserve the facility's condition and presentation.
Pullman Rotorua
Our specialist abseiling team successfully completed the window seal replacement project at Pullman Rotorua. Using rope-access techniques, the team safely accessed challenging elevations to remove and replace deteriorated seals, improving weatherproofing, building performance, and aesthetics while minimising disruption to hotel operations.
Novotel Airport
Maintained a safe exclusion zone to protect personnel and site operations during inspection activities. Provided an Elevated Work Platform (EWP) and access support for engineers conducting detailed inspections of steel beam corrosion, enabling safe assessment, defect identification, and condition reporting for future maintenance planning.
Westwater Ponsonby
Completed specialised window rubber replacement works at Westwater using rope access techniques. By accessing the building façade via abseil, our technicians safely replaced deteriorated window seals, improving weather-tightness and building performance. The project was completed efficiently with minimal disruption, demonstrating APS's expertise in safe, cost-effective high-rise maintenance solutions.
Rainbows End
Our team delivered specialist cleaning and maintenance services at Rainbow’s End, working safely within a high-risk environment to help keep key attractions and ride structures in excellent condition. The project focused on preserving presentation, safety, and operational standards, ensuring these iconic assets remain well-maintained and ready to provide an outstanding visitor experience.
Microsoft Building
The Microsoft Building refresh involved a complete exterior wash and repaint of the concrete façade, restoring its appearance and extending its service life. Delivered by our specialist Abseiling Team and Heights Division, the project combined meticulous surface preparation, precision painting, and safe, efficient access solutions to achieve a durable, high-quality finish.
